Aidhm Spleodair
Is é aidhm Spleodair meas ar an nGaeilge a chruthú i ndéagóirí agus oiliúint a chur orthu i gcomhoibriú agus cinnireacht.

The aim of Spleodar is to develop an appreciation of Irish in teenagers and educate them in co-operation and leadership skills.

An tAgallamh/Interview & Information Meeting

An tAgallamh/Interview and Information meeting

Nuair a fhaigheann muid d'fhoirm iarratais, cuirfear admháil chugat. Bíonn ar na daltaí nua agus a dtuismitheoirí freastal ar agallamh/cruinniú eolais in ionad áitiúil. Mura bhfreastalaítear ar an gcruinniú seo, ní bheidh cead ag an dalta teacht go cúrsa Spleodair. Caithfidh tuismitheoir a bheith i gcuideachta an dalta ag an gcruinniú seo.

Mairfidh an cruinniú uair go leith. Beidh comhrá Gaeilge idir an dalta agus ball foirne Spleodair i gceist leis an gcruinniú, chomh maith le seisiún eolais ina bhfreagrófar ceisteanna na ndaltaí agus na dtuismitheoirí i mBéarla. Ba chóir don dalta Amhrán na bhFiann a fhoghlaim don chruinniú.

Míneofar rialacha Spleodair, "Riail an Bhéarla" san áireamh, ag an gcruinniú freisin.

After your application for our course has been received a receipt is issued. Students and parents are called to an interview / information meeting conducted at a venue in your locality. Those who fail to attend an information meeting cannot attend a course. Each student must be accompanied by a parent.

The meeting will last an hour and a half and will consist of an Irish language conversation between the student and an interviewer, followed by a question and answer information session for parents and students in English. Student should learn Amhrán na bhFiann in preparation for the interview. The rules of the college, including "Riail an Bhéarla" (the English language rule) will be fully explained at this meeting.

Gluais don Agallamh ar fáil do dhaltaí nua. Some examples of common questions asked in the interview are available here.
